About Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park
Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park, after the Numazu Imperial Villa was abolished in 1969 (1969), are free of charge lent to Numazu, it was opening of the park as a "Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park" in 1970. On October 3, 2016, part of the scenery of the Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park was designated as a national scenic spot as "Former Numazu Imperial Villa Garden". The designation of this time is that the lawn of the former Imperial Palace and the pine forest are in harmony, the view of Suruga Bay can be obtained, and the view of Mt.Fuji can be seen over Matsubara. It is evaluated that it exists. At nightfall, you may be able to see the "Daruma sunset" over the Suruga Bay.

The Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park is located in a corner surrounded by quiet pine forests, facing the coast of Shimago, Numazu City, which is the innermost part of Suruga Bay. It connects to the city of Numazu across the mouth of the Kano River to the north, overlooking Mt. Fuji and Mt. Ashitaka in the distance, and connects to the mountains of Izu from the quiet Uchiura Bay to the south. The clear stream of the Kakita River and the cityscape of Mishima continue to the east, and you can see the mountains of Hakone, Nihondaira to the west, and the peaks of the Alps in the distance on a clear day.
